"American Skunk Cabbage" is an open-ended story trying visualise the parasitic integration of invasive species in The Netherlands and the fatal consequences this relationship has on a given ecosystem.
We created a 3d environment with scans of found native and alien plant species. By using a multispectral map of the invasion progress we merged the data visualisation and 3d scenography into an interpretive visualisation of the research that highlights the invisible aggression of the American skunk cabbage and its conquering of native dutch species.
